They Say, "Be Afraid." You're Not Like The Others, Futuristic Lover.

Lola's Room blazer, Bongo jeans, Frye boots, American Apparel scarf, "Karl" tee from Kensignton Market.

I wore my hair in the Lady Gaga hair bow! Surprisingly easy thanks to this tutorial. Truthfully, half the reason I did this hairstyle was just to see if I could pull it off, the other half was that I wanted to see people's reactions. To be honest, not as much shock and outrage as I had hoped for. (I'll try harder next time.)

Started using tag.loudly and I'm loving the ability to tag my photos as well as the awesome image quality. Also, considering changing the blog layout. I don't feel it's a good fit for my personality but since I have little to no grasp of HTML/CSS, I'm stuck for now. Now adding "Learn How to Use Dreamweaver" to my impossibly long list of summer to-dos.

P.S. Thanks to Vess for taking these.

Infect Me With Your Lovin', Fill Me With Your Poison

Jason Wu, F/W 2011

I'm a bit late on this one but by far my favourite collection of NYFW. Other favs include Erin Featherston, Proenza Schouler, Y-3, Rag & Bone, 3.1 Phillip Lim, the unmitigated simplicity of Doo.Ri and the always classy Carolina Herrera. Also, Rodarte was scarily wearable this season (in comparison to the past, anyways. I quite enjoyed it.) What were your favourites?

Now Rumour Has She Ain't Got Your Love Anymore.

So remember when I said I was going to learn how to knit & crochet? I wasn't fucking with you. Behold, my first project:

This was crocheted. It was crazy easy and I've had at least three requests from family & friends to make one since I got home. For anyone who crochets, feel free to click here for the pattern.

I know I've been absent for about 12 million years in blog time, which still translates to a fairly long period even in real time. I promise to post at least one outfit post home while home on reading week, since I have both the time and access to a dSLR.
