The Quiet Scares Me 'Cause It Screams The Truth.

A couple outfits from the past few days:

American Apparel dress, H&M necklace, Ardene's cardigan, Hue tights.

Forever 21 rings, Garage dress, American Apparel lace bodysuit.

So really shitty news: my camera no longer works, and I am too poor to buy a new one. Which leaves me at a loss for how to keep this blog going. For now, I'm just going to take outfit pictures on Photobooth until I can find a better solution.

I know everything that could possibly be said about the H&M x Lanvin collection has been said, so I'll keep this short. I was one of those bloggers who were jizzing their pants over the prospect of this collection - but on the models, the collection was rather underwhelming. After going and looking at the collection online however, I'm particularly loving the yellow one-shouldered dress and cream skirt pictured above. Although seeing as how I won't even be in Toronto when the collection debuts there is a fat chance of me ever getting my hands either.

It Takes A Muscle To Fall In Love

Everyone has that outfit that they fall back on when they're too lazy to put something together or don't have the time - for me, it's this American Apparel dress. I have it in both green and black (which is kind of embarassing.) It's comfortable, warm (key for Canadian winters) and simple - perfect for a student who occasionally wakes up only 20 minutes before her 8.30 morning class. But today I wanted to dress it up a bit, do a little something different.

American Apparel dress, Ardene's belt, Forever 21 necklace and scarf, Hue tights, H&M bracelets and vintage cowboy boots.

I'll consider this outfit an exercise in pattern and texture. I love that it's a combination of items which I wouldn't normally put together - but somehow it works. Definitely the most boho outfit I've worn in a while.

All I Do Is Win Win Win, No Matter What.

Reppin' my team:
American Apparel sweater, Stitches "Brazil" tee, Dish Jeans, Havianas Brasil Flag flip-flops, Forever 21 earrings, and several Ardene's headbands.

They play Portugal today at 10am EST. GO BRASIL!

P.S. This post is dedicated to Boots.

I Could Be Chasing, But My Time Would Be Wasted - They Got Nothing On You.

May two-four long weekend was ridiculous. Hung out with my friends all day, everyday and got into some ridiculous situations. Good times.

Old Navy top, Bongo jeans, Forever 21 Cross, Ardene's fedora, sandals from Kensignton Market.

Shot these pictures in a little creek behind my house, honestly one of my favourite places ever (I shot a movie here for film class in high school.) A (refreshingly) isolated, small piece of nature in the middle of suburbia.

My girls:

Gotta love 'em.

I'm More Than Just An Option, Refuse To Be Forgotten.

Went shopping on Queen West yesterday, and I went OFF. The booty:

Forever 21 Shirt and Cross, Zara Jacket, H&M Tights, Ardene's Belt, Costa Blanca shorts (both) & Dynamite blazer.

Can't wait to get all of this on my body.

Also: I've been a shit-tastic blogger lately, sorry for the lack of outfit posts. Combination of busy with work/dressing to go out at friend's places without camera/losing my camera charger/not being allowed to take my father's SLR out of the house. I'll try harder to make time for outfit posts from now on =)

Outfit [2010.02.10]

Zara t-shirt. Makers of True Originals Jeans. Hot Topic suspenders. Ardene's hat.

This hat is my favourite. And I came home on Christmas break only to see that my sister has the exact same one. What can I say? She has good taste.
