Father forgive me, for I have sinned.

Aldo rain boots. Urban Outfitters BDG shirt. Thrifted blazer. American Apparel leggings & sheer circle scarf (borrowed from Darcy). H&M necklace. Ring from flea market.

Yesterday, I had an Anatomy presentation in which I played a nun. I know what you're thinking, how could those things possibly relate? Well I did a presentation on Alzheimer's, and we got a lot of information from this study, which is actually quite cool.

 Me as a nun:

The AA scarf actually made quite a good habit (the head scarf nuns wear), if I do say so myself. Unfortunately it's not mine, I borrowed it from Darcy. Speaking of Darcy, she's started a food blog, The Wind Up Bird Wonderland. You should check it out =)

For a sample of her cooking, here's a delicious omelette that she made for me this weekend:

Also, yesterday went to AA and picked up a black Micro-Mesh Bodysuit, as well as the Long-Sleeve Floral Lace one - despite not having the money to do so. I'm excited to wear them - and you'll be the first to see when I do.

Om Nom Nom: George Foreman Edition

So Darcy received this gorgeous George Foreman grill for Christmas, but due to... unforseen circumstances we were unable to access the grill until about a week ago.

We saw it, and pretty much jizzed in our pants.
So what do you do when you have a brand spanking new George Foreman?

Make quesadillas, obviously! (Especially when that grill comes with special quesadilla plates.)

Starting Materials.

Chef Darcy hard at work.

The result. Looks fab, no?

Darcy in the first stages of devouring her meal.

Perfect compliment to this meal.

Freshly Squeezed

So during Reading Week, I decided to do something I have always wanted to do but have simply been too lazy to do: make my own freshly squeezed OJ.

(Ya, I know you were hoping for something more epic, sorry for the letdown.)

The starting materials.

Freshly sliced orange, mmmmm.

Squeezin' orange halves with the juicer.

Wrecked orange half.

What I got after juicing (there was definitely a "WTF" moment here. Because that is not a lot of juice.)

Juice after straining. (The orange juice in the white bowl looks almost like an egg yolk, no?)

The final product (take note of the wreckage in the background.)

It was so worth it though, the juice was amazing.

Om Nom Nom

I made a fabulous spicy veggie soup.
IT WAS AWESOME.

Also, joke of the night:

Boots: "Don't you think he's what every gay guy is looking for?"
Darcy: "A bottom?"

I died.
